A contribution to our campaign for housing, healthcare, highways, and habitat is the surest way to make a real difference here in Lincoln County. Your contribution will be used to reach more of our neighbors and let them know that Don is fighting for our families’ futures. Every contribution makes a difference!
Oregon Political Tax Credit
Oregon voters may be eligible for a tax credit when contributing to qualifying state, federal, or local campaigns such as ours. The credit has a limit of up to $100 for those married and filing jointly or $50 for single filers. This is a unique gift the state allows voters making up to $75,000 singly or up to $150,000 for couples filing jointly. As with most gifts, however, if you don’t use it, you lose it. Be sure to take advantage of this no cost opportunity to make your voice heard.

This is not a deduction. It is a tax credit. This means if you owe money to the state at the end of the year, you will owe up to $50 or $100 less. If you are due a refund, your refund will be that much more. For more details or to see if you qualify check with the Oregon Secretary of State.
Contributions to our campaign are not tax-deductible for federal income tax purposes.

Contribution Limits
This race has no contribution limits. This is because the Oregon Supreme Court has found that limits on contributions to political campaigns generally violate the Oregon Constitution.

Please give what you can. There are many Lincoln County residents who are struggling to survive that need the type of change that Don seeks to bring.
Contribution Rules
While any eligible person may contribute as much as they like, there are some hard and fast rules about who is allowed to contribute.

If you answer yes to all of the conditions below, then you may contribute. All ineligible contributions will be returned.

If you have one or more noes, then please consider volunteering instead. Our campaign is run on People Power and we’d be grateful to have you as a member of our team.

I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).

This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.

I am at least eighteen years old.
Employment Information Requirements
Employment info is required by law for all political contributions. It helps keep dark money out of politics in order to keep our elections free and fair.
